BIG TOURNEY FOB, FEILDING. The following requisition, 'which was signed by Messrs. Guthrie' (If.P. for Oroiia), Buchanan (Wairarapa),' Newman (Mnnawatu), Buick (Palnierston North*. Ho" (Masterton), Hogan (Wanganui), and himth (Ranpritikei), was forwarded to tho Hon. J. A. Millar (Minister for Railwavs) yesterday:—.. '>;..-; ;> .., j...,,'. "It has been decided to hold a scout tournament at Jeildiug on December 7. An attempt is being made to brine together on that date scouts from tho East and West Coasts, as far as possible, it has beon suggested, in order to eucouvago tho movement, that the Railway Department bo approached with tho view of obtaining free passes for those scouts attending the tourney, or in, the event of this being impossible, to ■ obtaining for them tho. concessions granted to school excursionists.
