INCREASE IN THE ESTIMATES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrieht. (Rec. November 8, 10.55 p.m.) Berlin, November 8. ; The "Hamburger Nachrichtbn" states that the German Naval Estimates for 1911 will: amount to £22,500,000, an increaso of £800,000 oyer the expenditure of the preceding year. . .-.'... The building and armament votes total_ £12,500,000, and of this sum £3,850,000 is set asido for the, provision of suns. The German naval estimates have grown at an extraordinary rate of late years, as the following table will illustrate: " ' '.■ £ . 1904 -11,801,370 .>. 1905- ~„...._;........., 11,424,8-45 ■ ■ 1903 12,348,428 1907 13,028,247. 1908 16,066,186 1909 20,420,780 1910.. 22,127,740 1911 . 22,500,000 The 1911 Estimates will provide for tho delivery of three Dreadnought battleships and ope cruiser-battleship during the year, in exact accordance with the fixed German naval programme. A- message, of November 3 stated that the German Navy Estimates for 1911 totalled £23,085,000.
