INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.
TO BE OPENED ON MAY 24. At last evening's meeting " of the Wellington Provincial Industrial Association the secretary (Mr. H. F. Allen) read a letter from tho secretary of the Wellington Harbour Board, stating that the board had decided to allow the association the use of the "J" and "M" brick sheds for the purpose of an industrial exhibition on the same terms as was agreed to last year (when it was decided to adjourn the exhibition for a year). A vote of thanks was passed to the board for the manner in which it had met tho association in regard to the matter. On the motion of Mr. T. Ballinger it was decided that the exhibition be held from May 24 to July 33, 1911, and that the board be approached for the ! use of the sheds for a fortnight prior to and a week after the exhibition. ' The secretary, who stated that he. already had application's for space, reported that he, also read a copy of the circular which was about to be sent out to all manufacturers calling their attention to the association's intention to hold the exhibition on the date mentioned. The. chairman said that the old committees were still in existence, and he would like them to meet as soon as pos-' sible. On the motion of Mr. Ballinger it was decided that all committees should report that day week. In the meantime the committees would meet and get into working order.
