Every mail brings" , fresh' applications for space for side-shows at the Wanganui A. and P. Show, so 'that there should be no dearth of amusement for the children. Patrons of the lawn will see finished displays' of jumping, as some of the crack, jumpers will try conclusions in the Hunters' Competition on the first day, and in the Steeplechase Jumping on the second day. Proceedings will be enlivened ,by the" presence of the champion- band of Australasia. Holiday excursion tickets will be issued from Ohakune, Palmerston North, and Hawera, but the committee are making further," efforts to get these concessions ['extended, ■ '
