A complimentary presentation was made yesterday afternoon at Messrs. George F. Doughty's warehouse by the employees of the firm to Mr. H. V. Geddis, who is leaving the service of the firm to join the "Free Lance" staff. Mr. D. E. Barnes, the accountant, in making the presentation, which tool: the form of a pair of binoculars, suitably inscribed, expressed tho regrets of- the employees at parting from Mr. Geddis, and their good wishes for his welfare.
