AUSTRALIAN LABOUR SCHEME. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Rec. November 7, 0.55 a.m.) Melbourne, November 6. Mr. M'Gowen, the New South.Wales Premier, and Messrs. Holman and Beeby, Attorney-General and Minister for Education respectively, have interviewed Mr. Hughes, Acting-Federal Prime Minister, and have practically stated-their intention to nationalise the iron industry. Asked if the Commonwealth would obtain railway material from the Stato if they were established, Mr. Hughes said he was personally favourable, and would place the matter before Cabinet.
