Bombay, November 4. ■ It is reported that the cruiser Proserpine landed a further detachment at Lingah, in the Persian Gulf, to restore order. . ■ . It is stated that the commander and several bluejackets were wounded in a collision with the tribesmen. TWO OFFICERS WOUNDED. (Rec. November 6, 5.5 p.m.) London, November 5. It is officially stated that the cruiser Proserpine landed 60 men in the Persian Gulf. Commander H. J. T. Marshall and Captain White were slightly wounded. This is not connected with the Ligan landing near Chatbar, about 50 miles from the Baluchestan frontier, where there has been gun-running by the Afghans.- • ■ . The Proserpine subsequently landed a larger force. ' ' -.
