It is officially stated that the cruiser Proserpine landed 60 men in the Persian Gulf. Commander H. J. T. Marshall and Captain White were slightly wounded. This is not connected with the Ligan landing near Chatbar, about 50 miles from the Baluchestan frontier, where there has been gun-running by the Afghans.- • ■ .
