MISS ELLEN TERRY.
VISIT TO NEW YORK. By Telegraph—Press Association—OopyTinlik (R-ec. Novombor 4, 11.45 p.m.) Now York, November 4. The President (Mr. Taft), Mr. J. P. Morgan, and tho leading literary lights of New York, attended Miss Ellen Terry's lecture on Shakespeare, and presented the famous actress with a book of welconie signed, by tho literary notabilities of tho United States. Mr. Percy Mackayc, the dramatist, read a sonnet welcoming Miss Terry on her return to America. The lecture dealt with Shakespeare's heroines.
