RIOTOUS MINERS.
NON-UNIONISTS STRIPPED NAKED. By TeleEraphr-Press Association—Oouyrient, (Rec. Novembor 3, H.O p.m.) London, Novembor 3. Mr. W. Abraham, Liberal M,P. for tho Rhondda Division of Glamorgaushiro, and President of tho South Wales Miners' Federation, and Mr, Tom Richards, Labour M.P. for Wolverhampton, have appealed to tlje South minors not to agree to a general stoppage of work. They point out that such sudden and. unprepared action is- certain to end in disaster, as the funds of tho federation havo already been depleted by costly litigation over stoppages, They add that the Miners' Federation of Britain will not sanction a general stoppage. Riotous scenes, have ocpurred a.t Aberr dare Valley, and at the Powell Duffryn collieries. The strikers attacked a train in which non-unionists were travelling, and stoned and broke the windows. The non.-unionists fled and were pursued. Several of them were stripped naked.
