After attending the Medical Congress, which was opened by.the Duke of Connaught this afternoon, Mr. Fisher tralian Prime Minister) and Mr. Fowlds (New Zealand Minister for Education) went 'to Government House, where they were specially received by tho Duke of Con.nau.ght in their capacity of representatives of the Commonwealth and Dαminion at the opening of the Union Parliament. The Duke of Connaught and party, accompanied by the Governor-General, Lord Gladstone and staff, proceeded by train to-day to Simonstqvvn, where the Puke is to open the Selborne graving dock. This dopk is capable of accommodating the largest vessels of the Navy, and forms part of an important extension of the Admiralty }lar-bour at giinoiiElpwn, Four cruisers saluted on arrival of the Royal party.
