ROUGH HANDLING OF CASES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrleht. Hobart, November 2. The Fruitgrowers' Conference discussed the matter of the rough handling of fruit on wharves. It was suggested that the labour unions be approached. Mr. H. Everett, a Riwaka (New Zealand) delegate, said too much hostility was shown to the men. They could not expect the men to look after their interests if they attempted to accentuate that hostility. Tho best way out of the difficulty was to approach the unions. The matter was referred to tho executive.
