James Syraonds, an old railway employee, was shovelling coal at the bins when a passing truck caught the handle of his shovel, thus throwing him down between two moving trucks. His back was broken, and he is in the hospital. A new hospital is to be opened at Donniston to-morrow. The Charleston Hospital has been closed.
