UNABLE TO MEET HIS FINE. Samuel Isanos, bookmaker, was arrested on Saturday afternoon and lodged in the Terrace Gaol for nWpayment of fines. On Friday last-, Isaacs was fined sums aggregating _£fio for streetbetting and laying totalisator odds. He was allowed 24 hours to find the money, but failed to do so and has now been committed to prison for one month and six weeks on the respective charges, tho sentences to be concurrent.
