Tho amount asked for, and which Mr. Moeller 'set' out to'get, was 20001b., but as more than that quantity was subscribed in a few hours, a wire, was sent to Mr. Kinsevi, the New_ Zealand .representative of-the expedition, asking if more than the stated quantity was wanted. Tho reply was that 30001b. was needed, but fh'ey did not like to ask for so much. The full amount has been, promised. .
