To-day at 2 p.m. Messrs. J. W. Braithwaite and Co. will hold a salo of furniture at the City Auction Mart, Manners Street. The catalogue comprises tho contents of six well-furnished rooms, also two motor-cycles in good running order. At 8 o'clock this evening a sale of property comprising fivo valuable residential sites, situate Woodlands Road and Earp Street, Johnsonville, also six valuable sections on Aurora Road and Petherick Crescont in tho samo suburb, 1 will be submitted at the Mart, Manners Street, and some spirited bidding is expected.
Tho Rev. Robert Tahnpotiki Haddon, Maori missionary, will address tho King's Theatre service on Sunday ovening, in connection with the Central Mission. He will bo accompanied by a large Maori deputation. Mrs. E. P. Blamires will sing, accompanied by tho Silver Band.
The Wellington City Council notify in this issue that Apuka Street, Brooklyn, has bean dosed for traffic.
