Tho Wellington branch of the Institute of. Architects notified that Mr. R. F. Bacon had been appointed as its representative 011 the Painters' ' and Decorators' Board of Control. The Director (Mr. W.S. La Trobe) reported that out of a roll number of 300 students there were 31 bad attend-, ors, as against 28 last year. The bad attenders at present were chiefly in tho mechanical and'plumbing classes. 1 There had been a good deal of illness among tho students. The report vyas received.
