CAPETOWN EN FETE.
A UNIQUE GATHERING. iiy Telegraph—Prcsß Association- OopyriEht. (Rec. October 29, 1.5 a,ir.) Capo Town, October 28. Renter's News Agency states that the decorations for the Union festivities are fast approaching completion. Tho influx of visitors is abnormal, and five heavy trains of excursionists left Johannesburg alone yesterday, besides which there is a great exodus from other parts. Tho meetings of two or three intercolonial congresses take place next week, and this means, with tho certmonies, the concentration at Cape Town of tho heads of every branch of South african life, administrative, professional, commercial, and agricultural. Never in the history of the country hus there been such a widely-representative gathering in any one town.
