SCULLING
ASPIRANT JFOB CHAMPIONSHIP.

Blenheim, October 27. Considerable interest is being shown locally in the report that tlio Blenheim iiowing Club has found in Arthur .Tnckson a possible aspirant for sculling championship honours. Dr. Xhacker, one of Arnst's supporters, says there.is a possibility of I'carco, of New South Wales, "Wheleh, of Akaroa, and tho two Arnsts competing in a handicap for £50 at the Alcaroa regatta this year. Ho hopes Webb will also.bo a competitor, and that Jackson will be induced to enter. Dr. Thacker adds that if the plans for. the race fall through this year, lie will increases' the prize money to <£100 next year. '
