Vienna, October 25. A strong detachment'of police guarded tho meat market to-day, when the experimental shipments of Argentine and Australian meat were on sale. The mob surged round tho stalls, and Argentine meat was quickly sold out at Is. 4cl. a pound. Australian realised Is. lOd. a pound.. The' amount offered was insufficient, and. there was clamour for furthor supplies. The police • erected barricades. The restaurants.are serving Argentino meat as a delicacy.
