KILBIRNIE METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL.
~* —1 — The Kilbirnie Methodist Sunday School children have a reputation for good singing, and at their anniversary services on Sunday they exceeded all previous efforts. At the morning service, conducted by the Rev." J. Ward, thoro was a good attendance. In, tin afternoon, Mr. J. W. Black addressed a full church, and in the evening the Bey. E. Richards laced 11' congregation that orowded into tho open. With Mr. H, Pitcher as conductor, and Miss l'eir at tho oigan, nssiste-1 by several musical friends, tho children sang with a spirit imd precision worthy of all pra.iso. Solos and duels, by Mrs. Halliday, and Misses M. and E. Crouchcr added to the pleasure and profit of the large number of listeners, each service- being holpfnl and inspiring. Tho anniversary social will be held to-morrow evening at 7.45, when all the best items will bo repeated, with recitations, etc. Refreshments will bo provided, and anc.tli'T enjoyriblo evening may bo confidently expected.
