There' aro different opinions, but there can only be one' opinion' On the" fact" that ' tho OTanganm Agricultural Association has catered well for the farmers who have any exhibit, in tho fat stock classes. Thore are no fewer than twelve Classes in fat cattle, . ranging - from a class for three yearling fat steers, for which Mr, George a. special prize of £.1 25.,, down to one fat bullock, any ago. The intermediate ages are all provided with classes, whilst there are' also ■classes for best fat cow and best fat ■ [heifer, and 1 also for' pen of . two fat heifers, so that the visitor should have a fine display to fill his eye on November 16 and 17. Coming to the fat sheep classes, .there are classes for five fat wethers in full wool, most profitable sheep, wool, and mutton .combined, five fat wethers suitable for freezing, Downs or Down crosses, 5 fat wethers, Lincoln, Eomney, Leicester, or merino cross, five fat wethers iany age, five fat ewes any age, five fat '■hoggets each, ewes and wethers, and five fat-lambs, long-wooled, and five-fat lambs, Down or! Down crosses; In "'Glasses 81, 82, 83, 88, and 90, the following conditions will apply:—All those sheep will ibe judged on the first day of the show, and prizes awarded, and then killed and frozen at the Wanganui Freezing Works 'and '• consignedto' London agents, as soon as practicable after the show.
