Two new mem-/ bers were duly initiated into. the. order. N Bro. Dryden introduced to tho. lodge Bro. and Sis. AV. Chappell, of Ports-' month, 'England, and South' Africa. Bro. Chappell is a P.G.C.T. of England, and Sister Chanpell a P.D.P.T. of Hampshiro distinct (England). Tho visitors were,officially received and'accordod a hearty welcome. The lodge was thrown open to ; visitors, Bro. Chappell presiding. Aii enjoyable programme was contritmted to' by Misses Goodwin, Biddle, Norgate,. Mrs.' Chappell, .'Messrs. Millar, Cooper, Morris, and Price. The chairman gave an address on tho >'work of tho order in South Africa and' elsewhere, •and .urged all not to lose heart and always do tho best they could in all , walks of life. Tho grand secretary (Bro. Petherick) also spoke. Refreshments were provided by the H.C. Votes., of thanks woro passed to the overseas visitors and all who .had assisted to make a pleasant evening. : At the next meeting the quarterly election, of officers will take place.
