BATHING AT PLIMMERTON.
M. ■■■ *.■ v..-' . •>" Sit,—The time' is' now' 'opportune" to .draw public • attention to. the Plimmertoa seaside resort. Plimmerton beach is second to none/in the North Island as is testified .by, the/hundreds 'of-; bath-" ers, one sees there every season,, and yet ■. so energetic /are, its .citizens - that there'is/not -a; single undressing place, of accommodation; for. the general public, so, the bathers have just to/manage as ;best they cau.\ Some go, half' a mile to the - bush; some undress behind the far off rocks. It is. a shamn, and it must rest on those 'residents of' Plimmerton, many of whom '■ 1 'are / widely known. ".Now,, this place is unsurpassed ,as.:a "beach: for; bathers:' , ,1 earnestly trust that those in; authority will look into the matter of bathers' accommodation. Theri,' again, if the . place were beautified with' some trees,' 1 Plimmerton would r b'e an altogether ideal . sea-side resort.—l : am, etc., , • . KARA _ SINJORO
