— —$—- — Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Limited, report having held their fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides, and tallow yesterday auernoon. There was the usual attendance of buyers. In sympathy with the weakness reported from London of . late in the wool trade, prices for skins showed a drop -of -a farthing to a, halfpenny-from last sales' rates. Hides were very firm at, prices if anything a. shade over last;sale. Tallow .very firm at last week's prices. ' The only wool offered was in bags and in small : lots.
