"Wool: Only bags lota wero offered, all bales being reserved for sale on November 8. Crutchings, 5Jd. to' gid.; crossbred, 7Jd. to 73d.; dead, 43d. to 7*d.; bellies, sid. Murray, Koberts and Co., Ltd., report:—We offered a catalogue of 2500 sheepskins and. 400 hides and calfskins yesterday, to; a fair attendance of buyers. In sympathy with the weakness reported from London of . late in the wool trade, prices for skins showed a drop -of -a farthing to a, halfpenny-from last sales' rates. Hides were very firm at, prices if anything a. shade over last;sale. Tallow .very firm at last week's prices. ' The only wool offered was in bags and in small : lots.
