PLIMMER-DENNISTON SEASON
The Plimmer-DennistoE season, under "|! the direction of Mr. Allan Hamilton, will commence in the Opera House on Thursday evening next with that: interesting play, "The Passing of lie Third Floor Back." The curious among the amusement-loving public of Wellington are asking each " other, • "Who is ho?" and the only answer is ' that of Jerome K.' Jerome himself, who said some think "The mysterious stranger" is intended for the Divinity, > others that he is a mprtal ropresenta-1 tive' of good thoughts, good actions, and of every ideal.,which could, he attributed to tho Divinity. For an actor i to represent such a very difficult f ea- • lisation. is something lo be proud of.; The Auckland papers give Mr. Harry Plimmor the credit of not only doing it, but doing it well. In fact, tliey say ,it is the best thing they have seen, him' do. Mr. ■ Plimmer will be well supported by Miss Lizette Parkes, of "Peter Pan" fame, as also Mrs. Robert ' Broughy Mr. Reynolds Denniston, and a largo company of well-known actors and actresses. The box plan open'on Monday at Holliday's. The Hamilton, ■ Plimmer, and Denniston Company will appear at Stratford to-night, staging "The Passing, of the Third Floor Back." They will be at Hawera on Monday with the - same production, and at PahneretrMi' North on Tuesday, October 25, staging "Lover's Lane," and on Wednesday, October 26, "The Passing of the Third Floor; Back."
