'.•".-,' The [deceased was from'the Ariki-line of the Hapns: Ngati-Pikiao, Waitaha, Ngati-Pukenga, Ngati-Te-Takinga, and Nga-Potiki. ; , v :'.- She was a direct descendant of Tama-te-Kapua, the Chief of the 'Arawa canoe, and also of Hei, Rangitihi, Toroa, Waitaha, Pikiao, Tuparahaki, Pukenga, Tutanekai, and of other Chiefs of the Canoes Arawa, Matatiiaj and Tainui, which crossed the Pacific Ocean to Now Zealand.
