BRISK BIDDING. Ad\-ices to. hand state that bidding for the steamer Papanm, recently resold >at Molbourno was unexpectedly brisk. A luio of cleavage, it appears, developed in the syndicate that originally bought the vessel, and it was decided by them that she should bo put np for auction again. Neither party anticipated any onteido competition, though; it ■, was evident from the number of people present that considerable interest attached to tho sale.
