THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of the Licensed Victuallers' Association, of New Zealand was held yesterday, Mr. J. S. Palmer presiding over a very full attendance of representatives from various parts of tie Dominion. Tho report and balance-sheet were adopted without amendment or alteration. The provisions of the new Licensing" Act were discussed, but tho views of the association will not bo made public until they havo been kid before the Prime Minister. ■■ The question of organisation was discussed at length, and steps ,irere ' decided upon with a view to perfecting the organisation that exists.;.' Tho following officers were fleeted President, Mr., J. S. Palmer; vice-pre* I sidents. Messrs. F. M'Parland (Wellington), C. M'Carthy (Wanganui), H. 0. Fox (Napier), 0. BraneoE (Duaodin), J. T. Button (Christchurch), J. Malloy (Auckland), W. Devine.(Pat merston North), and W. H. Lavelle (Dannevirke); treasurer, Mr. , J. Boveridge; executive "committee, Messrs. P. Griffin, J. Dwyer, M. Nathan, and A. Mace: auditors, J. Dwyer and W. Nidd.
