There is littlo demand for shipping wheat on a basis of 3s. at country station, but, as the London market is easier, shippers ■are only purchasing to fill space' actualb* engaged. The quantity changing hands, for this purpose is, however, sow limited. Most of tho holders of wheat in 'the country are -. not- anxious to sell,, as they are ■ not in want , of tho money, and,: as the price is now down practically to the cost of production, they consider it; good enough to hold.
