. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Lawn' Tennis; Association was . held last evening, Mr. H. R. Cooke (Auckland) presiding. ■ The "report., (already published) and 'balance-sheet' were adopted. ' . , OFFICE BEARERS. His Excellency tlio Governor,: Lord Islington, was appointed patron, subject to his acceptance •of tho position. It, was agreed, that, as usual,'the association president : should be ithe president of -tlio centre selected as a - location for tho annual championship. Vice-presidents aro nominated,, one each by the Provincial' Associations. Their election On this basis was agreed to in advance. Dr. Eaves was appointed delegato to the Lawn Tennis Association. ' Management' Committee, pro tem: — Messrs. R. St. Beere, B. Keosing, F. M. B. Fisher, H. M. Gore, J. W. M. Dart, T. Gray, and J. S..Wilson . Hon. auditor, Mr. F. R. Laishley. A vote of thanks '..was passed to tlio retiring auditor, Mr. L. G. Mackay. ' On the motion of Professor Hunter it was agreed that the location of the New Zealand championship tournament be left to the Management Committee.
It was decided that a paid secretary be appointed at a salary of £50 a yoar. In addition, an annual bonus not. exceeding £10. is to be paid when the annual championships are held at headquarters, and not exceeding £25 when another centre is selected for the championships.
