THIS YEAR'S ARRANGEMENTS

Mr Paul Hunter, of Porangahau, has consented to net as judge at the Winganui Kennel Gluo's Show on November 16 and 17, entiles, for which dose on November 2 Schedules may bo obtained from the secretary, Mr S Moiton,l »In addition to special prizes, enumerated in the schedule, the Irish Terriers' Club give two trophies of value £4 4s for the best Irish terrier dog and bitch m the show The New Zealand Pointer and Setter Club givo a special pnzo of £1 Is for the best pointer or setter pup in the show, in addition to which the Wanganui Lioensed Victuallers offer two challenge trophies, value £7 10s each, for the best cock«r spaniel and the best Borgois dog or bitch in the nhow There is no part of the- Wanganui Agricultural Show that appeals to the laches like the Homo Industries' Department Last year the large pioduce shed was thronged ill day long, both days of the show The committee this year have spared no pains to provide classes foi plain 'and fancy work, including knitting, plain sewing, fancy sewing, embioidery, crochet, stencil woils, drawn-thread uork, and every kind of art needlework The cookery classes run from the staff of life (good home made bread), scones of every description, cakes of every \anety, cream putts, cocoanut ice, and every kind of delicacy The ait and Technical School classes provide for eiery class on the syllabus, whilst the public school classes are numerous and failed Am I one who has not received a schedule can obtain one on application to the secretaiy /Entries close on November 2 I
