The terms; of- the agreement were such as have been reported from day. to day during: the' sitting, of the council. The commissioner (Mr. P. Hally), who presided,' expressed pleasure that an:amicable'settlement'had been arrived at, and congratulated the assessors on the way they had : carried out their duties.
