Tho senior: championship for the S.inir inonds and Osborhe Shield , was competed for. by/five'teams/andwas again won by .'.the-Artillery,, team. The Oriental team ;wero the runners-up.' The junior championship, for this Winder Cup brought out seven .teams, , The Vivian team, won and the Union team wore the runners-up.' Representative teams - visited -Horowhenua and Christchiirch.' Horowhenua won by. a: small margin. In the Chrijtchuroh matches,, Christchiirch won the senior match by eight wickets and 1 seven runs. In the junior match; Wellington won by five; runs, which result was/duo to the fine.'_ performance of. Ryan and. Cording.,' The.financial position is satisfactory.. The. season's work shows that' the .association came. out. with a-small balance to. its credit. The. committee .hopes with: careful, management in tho ensuing season to be able to put the association in a better financial-position. In the balance-sheet the receipts were set down as £105 17s.' 3d. 'The principal item was J875 75., .49 15s/ 9d. was. carried forward -from, the;' previous season, entrance! fees provided .£6; 65., the rental from, tho dressing-room amounted to £? 55.,-.by way of donations, 115..6 d. was received, and- was a refund of ,£5 12s. from the Union Steam Ship Company.
