Mr. Barker, president of tho Baptist Union, in speaking in connection with tho No-License campaign, said that if licenses were withdrawn from houses whioh were necessary to accommodate the travelling public the New South Wales Alliance was "out to buy those houses," andMf tho people now managing them as tho brokers' slaves wore'willing to manage them under tho Alliance thay oould do so.

An enormous No-License demonstration took place yesterday. Eight thousand children marched through the streets to tho Domain, the processionists carrying banners, and being accompanied by bands.
