Messrs. Beere and Kean; match, secretary, Mr. J,. W/ Barclay, resolved; that tho' in'aiiagement; committee act also as a match committee. - -V ■' ' •• .
: _ With regard tb inter-club competitions, ''favourable replies ; 'were : received from a majority: .'of the city clubs to the proposals submitted by the association, wliich therefore, adopted. .; l \ It was decided.-that in the. A grade competitions- all matches should be concluded before Christmas. . '■• , ' As far as possible, men arid ladies-of the samo club and in the. same grade are to play on . the samo grounds. . ; . Entries for the above competitions aro to close on October. 10. It is-proposed that tho competitions shall' start on October 15. . .. . Country.Cup Competitions:. It 'was de- ; that separate competitions bo held in_ the Wairarapa..and Manawatu. districts, and tliat a separate trophy bo provided for each competition. Messrs. Solandors and Aitken wcro appointed a committee for tho ■ Wairarapa Centre, and Messrs. Pickett .and Kenny for tho Manawatu. Mr. A., G. Duncan was elected to tho management committee, to .fill, tho vacancy, caused by the resignation of Mr. H. Godber.. It was decided that a ground fee bo charged for tho.uso of tho Day's Bay courts on • days other than Saturday. Players of affiliated clubs aro to bo charged a feo of 2s. 6d., and those of non-affiliated clubs 10s. Gil.-
