Merrie- Timo, runner-up to Tribulation iii tho'Maiden, was sent out . a pronounced favourite for 'the Scurry, and the- good tiling duly eventuated. After being, second' to move, lie soon ran to, the. front aiid" wqii \ comfortably' by half a length from Grand Jewel, who was a similar distance ahead of Field Fare. "
