Mr. Gerard Fiennes, the well-known writor on naval warfare, in an article in the "Daily Graphic," in referring to the Commonwealth destroyers, says the first ships of the. Australian Navy are now. en route to their. station. The event has attracted little attention, but it is : an epoch-making one. Australia and Now Zealand will soon be in a position to make a serious contribution to the force of the Empire in that part of the world whore naval force will be required in a very few years.
