Wo quote: Mixed hoggets (small), 12s. 6d.; wether lioggots, 13s. lOd. to 14s. lOd.; mixed wcaners (small),- 265.; yearling steers, £3 3s. An unusually large' quantity of sundries made full rates. At Feilding, on Friday, a moderate entry of cattle camo forward, and realised the following prices:—Fat cows, £5 16s. to £7 2s. 6d.';,fat heifers,' £5 Bs.; forward cows, £3 10s..'to £4 155.; springing .cows, £6 to £7;; cows in milk, £4 7s. 6d.; fifteen-month heifers, £2 18s. "6d.; yearling bulls, £2 17s. 6d. Messrs. Dalgoty and'Oo. report:—At our Dannevirltc sale yesterday a good entry of sheep and cattle was submitted to tho usual attendance of buyers. Sheep woro chielly • represented by hoggets, and tho demand was easier than at recefit sales. The majority were, passed in, but we succeeded in quitting most lines late at. reduced prices. Cattle were mostly of tho dairying class, and any good sorts sold, well. Heavy do., £2 9s. to £3; medium well-done calves, £1 lis. to £2 75.; others, 15s. to-£l 95.; small do., 3s: to 12s. There was. a moderate entry of mutton', and the quality was only medium.; Price 3 were equally as good ,as thoso. ruling last week. Heavy, wethers, £1 7s. 9d: to £1 10s. (no really heavy prime offered); medium; £1 4s. to £1 75.; light ewes, £1 4s. 6d. to £1 Bs. 3d:; others, 19s. to £1 35.; shorn, 18s. 6d.; hoggets,'lßs. to £1 Is. 9d.; light and unfinished, ■ lis. 3d. to 14s. 6d. 1339 yarded. The 87-spring lambs yarded met with a brisk sale at from £1 to £1 4s. 6d..for best; smaller, 16s. 6d. to 19s. Pigs of all classes were ; well .represented, and prices continue firm.
