Wo quote: Mixed hoggets (small), 12s. 6d.; wether lioggots, 13s. lOd. to 14s. lOd.; mixed wcaners (small),- 265.; yearling steers, £3 3s. An unusually large' quantity of sundries made full rates. At Feilding, on Friday, a moderate entry of cattle camo forward, and realised the following prices:—Fat cows, £5 16s. to £7 2s. 6d.';,fat heifers,' £5 Bs.; forward cows, £3 10s..'to £4 155.; springing .cows, £6 to £7;; cows in milk, £4 7s. 6d.; fifteen-month heifers, £2 18s. Sheep woro chielly • represented by hoggets, and tho demand was easier than at recefit sales. The majority were, passed in, but we succeeded in quitting most lines late at. reduced prices. Cattle were mostly of tho dairying class, and any good sorts sold, well.
