The new steamer being built by tie Transatlantique Company (French) at •New York, has been lannched. She -will be called La France. There will be accommodation for 2000 passengers. The displacement of the vessel will be 27,000 tons. The La France is expected to make the run from Havre to New York in 136 hours. •■' THE AUSTRALIAN TRADE. : London, Septomber 21. The sister ships of the Aeneas"ore to be named'the Antinolis and Anchises. They will sail on December 30, and at the end of February respectively. [Tho above vessels are three of the five new passenger steamers ordered by Messrs. Holt and Co: (Oceanic Steamship Co., Ltd.) for the Australian trade.] ■ . ■■
