THE TBMPLARS CLUB. The annual meeting of the Templars Cricket Club was hold on Tuesday evening, When there was a good attendance. Mr. J. G. W. Aitkeri (president) occupied the chair during the early part of tho ; meeting, and later Mr. W. A. Allan (club captain) took charge. .-.,.'" The secretary's 'report and balancesheet were adopted. Coulter; club scaptain, Mr. W. A.' Allan (re-elected for sixth year); hou. secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Dryden (re-elected for fifth

year); auditors, Messrs Allan "arid G. Price (re-elected);' delegates to W.C.A., Mi 1 . H. Greig; management committee, Messrs. C. Brown, E. Dooley, S. Cresswell, B. Pooley, A. M'Kenzie, and G. Lambert; selection committee, Mr. B. Pooley and club captain, ex officio. In returning thanks for his re-election, Mr. Aitken congratulated tho club on its continued success. Mr, S. , Gresswell was oleoted practice captain. '. Several new membors were elected, and it was decided to affiliate with the Wellington Cricket Association. The ; matter of members' subscriptions was/gono into and discussed, and several matters were left to the management committee to deal with. , A. very hearty vote of , thanks. was tendered to the honorary officers for their great assistance and interest in the club's welfare, and also to the press for the reports of the matches and publication ot teams. ' Mr. D. Hampton notified his intention of presenting a trophy for competition during the. season. ' A hearty vote of appreciation, spoken to by several members, was accorded to .the secretary for the, efficient manner in which ho has carried gut., his . duties. A.vote,of thanks to the chairmen closed a very successful meeting. .
