LODGE MEETING.
The Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, 1..0. G.T., I,held its weekly session on Monday even- 1 ing in the E.echabita Chambers, Planners Street. ■ Br.o. Robert Reid, C.T., presided' over a large, attendance. 1 Ono candidate was initiated and one proposed. werei received from Lifeboat Lodge, Jimaru,. and Auckland lodges, and reciprocated. . Official receptions were given to mombers of Hope of Petone and Star 7of Johnsonvillo Lodges, also a brother from'.-Auckland. After .business Vwas. concluded, •"ari,.;interesting programme was" submitted, when the ■ following members took; part: —Sister Charles (recitation), Bros. Everett, Upton, Baird, R. Kyle, Howard, T, Newton, and Burton (songs). Sister L. Barrett, played the accompaniments. An' enjoyable evening was brought to a close i by a,hearty vote, of thanks to visitors, which was carried by . acclamation.
