DECISION OF EMPLOYERS. MAY CLOSE ALL THE , MILLS. By Totojrr&ph—Association—Ou'oyrttjtav London.. September 19. The Cotton Spinners' Federation have decided that unless the Fern Mill troublo is settled by October 1 they will close all the mills. A hundred thousand'employees would be affected. (R-ec. September 20, 11.35 p.m.) London, September 20. In connection with the threatened closing of the cotton mills 700 mills and 150,000 operatives would be immediately affected, and 350,000 of operatives ultimately. • - (Rec. September 21, 0.40 a.m.) London, September 20. , . In referenoe to the cotton spinners' dispute -,the masters state that pioking the seeds off 'machinery with an awl has been customary for many years. A denial of the employers' right to question the grinders' duties aggravates the seriousness .'of the situation. The masters declare that negotiations with the card-room . amalgamation is impossible until the instructions -to the grinders to refuse to pick off seeds is withdrawn. :
