TRAMWAYS FOR NEW PLYMOUTH.
« A SCHEME ADOPTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Now Plymouth, September 20. ■The Borough Council to-night 1 adopted a scheme of electric., tramways from Fitzroy to Moturony through tho centre of New Plymouth; According to a report by Mr. F; Black, of Wellington,, the estimated cost will bo £39,726 for nearly , five miles of track. The council also adopted /.his, report on exten-'■ sions and additions to tho municipal electric lighting and' power supply system, the estimated i cost beina £llißsß. •
