Half a. pound minced' cold meat, half an ounce, aripping, half an ounoe flour, a small.piece; ot minced onion, one gill,of stock, popper and'salt, pastry. -.Make the dripping ..hot in a stewpan, put. in the onion, and fry it brown,,add. the flour and fry. it .brown, then .the stock, .stir until it boils, > and boil for three minutes. Then add the meat and seasoning, and put on. a-plate to. cpol. . Roll out the pastry very tliin, and cut into'.'founds with a round Cutter. ,P,ut one teaspoonful of.the meat mixture on to.each round of pastry, fold the, pastry, over, and seal.ihe Dip into egg. and then into breadcrumbs, and fry in hot x fat.
