The King's Overseas Dominions Regiment (formerly the King's ' Colonial Yeomanry) entertained at a banquet the o(Beers and many of the men of. the Queen's Own' Rifles- of Toronto, . Canada, who 'are in England sit the sole expense!of thoir colonel; Sir Henry Pellatt, to take part in tho manoeuvres at Aldershot. During, a speech, Sir Henry Pellatt dwelt upon the "useful lessons to "be derived from the visit of his regiment. Sir George Reid, High Commissioner for Australia, emphasised the need for preparedness' and unity "of action throughout the Empire. They must always remember that tho v Empiro's mission was peace. Lord Strathcona, High Commissioner for Canada, said the meeting .of tho two corps would serve'to knit the peoples of the Empire in closer bonds.
