ST. JOHN'S CLUB. _ At the sixth annual' meeting of . St. John's Men's Club, the following officers were elected for the ensuing year : —Patron, Rev. Dr. x Gibb; hoii. president, Mr. G. A. Troup;' active president, Mr. John Boal; vice-presidents, Messrs J. S. Butler, C. S. Moore, a! Howitt, and Thomas Crawford; lion secretary, Mr.. Arthur Coad: hon treasurer, Miss Agnes. Paterson; Management Committee, " secretary treasurer,; Misses A. Mace, C. Horrell' M. Pullman,-Messrs. C. T. Andrsw J H.-Chapman, A. W. Wyte; delegate to Provincial Association, Mr. C. T. Andrew. . Twenty-two members were elected, bringing the total membership up to -19. It was decided to enter one cup and one pennant team (for the inter-club .matches). Votes of thanks were'passed to Mr. Troup foi 1 his generosity in donating -two 'Courts at Kelburne; to Messrs. J. Boal and J. Thorneon for assistance rendered; to the outgoing officers.
