Eacialism undisguised is ■ being made an issue of the South African elections; Mr. .Gunn, ex-Director of Education, has accused General Hortzog (Ministei for Justice in the Union Government) and Mr. Hircher of attempting" to "Dutchify" : South Africa.. General Louis Botha, the South African Prime Minister, speaking at Johannesburg, said he was pleased, that General Lord Methuen (late Commander-in-Chief in South Africa, and now Governor of Natal) had consented .to organise the' forces. He added that, the forces would be composed of men of both the British and Dutch races. Lord Methuen would possibly be assisted-in his work by' his (General Botha's) old friend, FieldMarshal Lord Kitchener. •
