WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule- hereto is required to be 1 taken, under, the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a road in Block V, Paekakariki Survey District: And whereas the Hutt County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, .accompanied , by. a map, Tmd also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Diok-son-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,'in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities in me vested by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every'other power and authority in any # wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes,of a road, and Ido also declare that thi6 Proclamation shall take-effect, on and after the thirteenth day of' October, one thousand nine hundred and ten.:, '-.'..
