The "Daily Chronicle's" correspondent at Milan reports that. the man Ruvolino, who was murdered, at Pellaro, Calabria, a few days ago, together with his wife and six children, was implicated with other Italians in a big bank''robbery in New York. : : ; It is stated.that Ruvolino was released by the American police in consideration of; his having revealed the identity .'of the ringleaders.in the robbery, and that ho afterwards returned to Italy.' Fearing further vengoance by the unknown murderers, -the villagers at Pellaro refused to (assist the police, and the carabineers were obliged to coerce the undertakers into making-coffins for the murdered family. : ".: '.'..■ The troops also escorted the biers to the cemetery... : ■■'• .. ; .
