BOAT CAPSIZED.

kAN-0-WARSMEN TO THE ' - HESCI'E.-,. The Boat Harbour, Clyde Quay, was the scenoof a boating accident yesterday morning. A small sailing boat left the Boat Harbour under full sail, with a crew of five, whose names are'as follow : —J. M'Arthur R: N. M'Gillvray, J. Main, J. Taylor, and'D.M'Gillvray. When about 50 yards from- the Boat Harbour, on tho run with a hard northerly blowing, the man at the tiller jibbed-the boat,-instead of going about; with the result that the boat capsized, all the occupants being thrown into the water. The accident was -witnessed by' a number of people, including -..-'.some' sailors, Encounter;-which is lying alongside the Clyde Quay "Wharf. Two boats were smartly lowered from the warship, and quickly reached; the up-turned boat, rescuing tho ; crew. Thi boy M'Gillvray, who could swim a little, went after his father to assist' him, but after a good deal of struggling both/became helpless,- the father beiiig'unconscious when rescued. They'were .all taken back to the warship and put' into the - ship's hospital, where the .father and son -still remain.; The other .tiirea were-able to return to their homeFlata yesterday afternoon. It is .expected that the two M'Gillvrays will be able to return home this: evening.- -.The .mea were attended by the ship's doctor. ■
